This fall two separate groups of students traveled to Syracuse to visit Syracuse University in order to experience life on campus first hand. The engaging and informative visit brought 60 students from English 11 AP and an additional 60 students from SUPA English Sociology to the private research university. The visit began with an admissions presentation, where students learned about academic programs, campus life, financial aid and the admissions process. Following the session, students explored the campus with a guided tour, visiting key buildings, learning about student resources and getting a firsthand look at what life is like as a Syracuse University student.
This experience provided students with valuable insight into college expectations and helped them envision future opportunities in higher education.
