CTE: Designing the Future: EV Auto Students Conceptualize Custom Vehicles

On September 25, Electric Vehicle Automotive Pathway students are putting their creativity and technical knowledge into action by designing their own vehicles. Students are drawing and developing detailed vehicle concepts, labeling key components and features as well as determining details such as pricing, functionality and design elements.

Students then present their vehicle designs to their classmates, giving them an opportunity to explain their ideas and receive feedback. This hands-on project not only builds technical and creative skills, but also develops important employability skills, including communication, presentation, critical thinking and confidence.
