On September 1, Albany Elementary hosted its kindergarten orientation, filling the hallways with smiles, chatter and eager young learners. Incoming kindergarteners and their families were warmly welcomed into the school as they took their very first steps into this exciting new educational journey.
During orientation, students had the chance to explore their classrooms, practice sitting at their desks and meet their teachers face-to-face. They also toured key areas of the building, practiced navigating the hallways and met many of their future classmates. Connecting with peers and exploring the space in a relaxed, supportive setting helped ease first-day jitters and build enthusiastic anticipation for the start of the school year.
Teachers and staff were thrilled to greet the newest students of Albany Elementary. With classroom routines introduced and new friendships already forming, the entire team looks forward to supporting these young scholars and sharing a wonderful, growth-filled school year ahead!
